On February 28 (Fri), CES held our weekly Friday fieldwork lesson, where general students and families visited Cebu Ocean Park together!
It was a great opportunity for students to use classroom English in real situations while learning about marine animals. Our teachers joined the tour and supported students’ communication in English as they explored the beautiful aquarium.

We first took a group photo at the entrance! Everyone looked excited. Teachers asked questions like “Are you excited?” and “What do you expect to see today?” to start the lesson using practical English.

Students were fascinated by the colorful fish swimming gracefully in the huge tanks. They enjoyed using vocabulary they learned, such as “What color is this fish?” and “It’s blue and yellow!”

In the underwater tunnel, students got a close look at sharks and rays swimming overhead. Teachers encouraged conversation by asking questions like “How many sharks do you see?”

This fieldwork lesson created a natural environment for students to use the English they have learned in real-life situations.
Students shared comments like “It was so much fun!” and “I learned a lot!”, showing how meaningful the day was for them.
Stay tuned for the next fieldwork lesson!
