You start wanting delicious beef…
When that happens, head to Kanyouen—located just a 1-minute walk from Cebu English School.
The prices are a bit high, but there aren’t many places in Cebu where you can enjoy yakiniku of this quality.
It’s also known as a discreet favorite among Japanese celebrities visiting Cebu.

Here are some highlights from the menu:

Lunch sets start at 532 PHP (around 1,415 JPY).

Philippine beer San Miguel is 85 PHP (~226 JPY). They also serve Asahi Super Dry and Japanese lemon sours.

They even serve yukhoe (raw beef), which is no longer commonly available in Japan.

Premium loin is 585 PHP (~1,556 JPY)—tender and incredibly delicious!

Japanese chicken neck meat (seseri) is 315 PHP (~838 JPY) and highly recommended.
