General Students: Practicing English While Learning Cebu’s History
This week, our general students visited two of Cebu’s historical landmarks—Fort San Pedro and Magellan’s Cross. 📚
They learned about the history of each site while practicing English through conversations with teachers and local guides. Students even interacted with tourists, putting their English skills to use in real-life situations.

They also stopped by the Carbon Market, where students tried ordering food from local stalls! ✨
For some, it was their first time ordering in English. Communicating directly with locals and purchasing food boosted their confidence tremendously.

Family Activity: Learning English Through Cookie-Making

This week, a mother and child joined our cookie-making activity at “Bakespace”! 🍪✨
Together with their teacher, they learned ingredient names in English and followed the baking instructions—all in English.
Using phrases like “Can you pass me the sugar?” and “Mix it well!”, they practiced English naturally while baking.
With her mother beside her, the child felt comfortable using English—and she looked so happy when tasting the freshly baked cookies! 😊

CES Fieldwork Lessons: A Valuable Chance to Use English in Real Situations
At CES, our fieldwork lessons allow students to move beyond textbooks and use English in real-life situations. 💡
We create an enjoyable environment where students can speak English naturally and confidently.
Stay tuned for our next fieldwork activity! 😊✨
