August 7, 2025 (Thursday) – Activity Day at PapaKits!

We departed at 9:00 a.m. 🚌💨 and drove for about an hour to PapaKits, an outdoor activity area. Upon arrival, the group split into boys and girls and began their activities!

This activity day was an opportunity to take on challenges together, building confidence and initiative 💪✨. Surrounded by local nature and culture, students used the English they’ve learned, turning the experience into unforgettable memories 🌏.

First, they discussed which activities to choose.

Out of about ten available activities, they discussed as a team and selected three to challenge themselves with 🎯.

First, everyone headed to the zipline! Pairs of two rode back and forth between the small island and the main land 🌉. Many were nervous at first, but by the time they returned, their faces were full of smiles 😊. “It wasn’t as scary as I thought!” and “I want to do it again!” echoed with excitement.

Next was the kayaking experience 🚣‍♀️. Students rode in small boats in groups of two to three, paddling together. They raced from one end to the other and coordinated their timing, enjoying a fun and cooperative activity.

The boys also selected three activities, starting with fishing 🎣. Many were trying it for the first time, but they kept going until everyone caught a fish! Each catch sparked cheers and applause 👏. At one point, they were surprised to learn that an extra fee was charged for the fish they caught—an unexpected cultural difference!

Lunch time at the restaurant

Along with sandwiches, everyone shared Filipino dishes such as BBQ, pancit (fried noodles), squid rings, fruit, and chicken. The students eagerly tried new flavors 😋.

In the afternoon, the groups mixed and continued activities. The boys tried the zipline they missed in the morning 💨, while the others enjoyed water play in the pool area 🏖️.

After 3 p.m., the group left PapaKits and returned to the hotel for a short break.

Dinner was a comforting Japanese meal. Afterwards, the students completed self-study tasks such as vocabulary quizzes and journaling before relaxing in their rooms.
Everyone was fast asleep by 11 p.m.
