August 8, 2025 (Friday) – A Day of Volunteering Filled with English, Tears, and Heartfelt Moments!

📔 Day 6 of the Camp

This morning also began with a game-style exercise using English to activate the brain ✨.

In the morning, the students studied English through both one-on-one lessons and group classes 📚.

This is the signature CES group class designed to make students fall in love with English!

Here is a look at the group pronunciation class.

The children are gradually getting used to being immersed in English every day, and we’re now seeing many cheerful smiles in class 😊.
During breaks, there were heartwarming moments where students taught their teachers how to make origami ✈️🎨.

Lunch was a luxurious hotel steak!

Surrounded by the savory aroma of sizzling steak, everyone enjoyed their meal with big smiles.

We heard “Delicious!” from all directions, and the table was filled with happy smiles 🥰.

In the afternoon, we volunteered at Anya’s Home.

Before visiting the orphanage, students split into three mixed-gender groups and discussed in English what questions to ask the children, with the team leader guiding the conversation ✍️.
Even while carefully choosing their words, the students worked together to finalize their questions.

Arrival at Anya’s Home

Upon arrival at Anya’s Home, students paired up and split into two teams for a dodgeball match 🏐.
During partner matching, students confidently introduced themselves in English—an impressive sign of their growth ✨.

They passed the ball kindly, encouraged each other with smiles, and their natural kindness shone through 💖.

🏘️ After that, we walked around the neighborhood where the children from the orphanage live.

Seeing the children of the community smiling despite their limited environment—what did our students feel in that moment…?

Their expressions revealed surprise, confusion, and many deep emotions.

🌳 To finish the day, we picked up trash together in the park and handed out the gifts we brought from Japan 🎁.

Finally, the students greeted Ms. Anya, the head of the facility who has appeared on YouTube. Some of the children even recognized her!

Some students shed tears 🥲 as they faced cultural differences and the realities of life in this environment 🌏,
but we hope they will never forget what they saw with their own eyes 👀 and felt with their own bodies 💪. It was truly a life-changing day ✨.

After saying goodbye to the children 👋, the group returned to the hotel 🏨.

Writing Reflections on the Volunteer Activity During Self-Study Time

After returning to school, the students had dinner and wrote reflections about the volunteer activity 🖊️.
Even though they were tired, no one complained—they worked incredibly hard!

Students who finished early helped those still writing, showing a growing sense of teamwork and mutual support 🤝.

📚 Finally, the vocabulary test results were announced, and several students scored a perfect 30 ✨.

Through fun 🎉, study 📚, and meaningful experiences 🌏, the students continue to grow each day. Their progress warms the hearts of our staff ✨💖.
