After a five-hour flight, the children were a bit surprised by Cebu’s hot climate,
but the boys seemed to adjust quickly—playing dodgeball as soon as they arrived at the dorms! (^^)
After arriving, the students were given a tour of the classrooms and an orientation about camp life!
At the welcome party that followed, everyone was thrilled by the giant pizza
and eagerly took big bites with huge smiles ☺
After the party, we discussed life in the Philippines and how it differs from Japan,
explained the weekly schedule, toured the school facilities, and answered questions about English learning.
